Colicky dog??? Is that even possible…

Thursday, September 17th, 2009

Here’s another gem of a news clip that comes from FOX News network out of Omaha, Nebraska regarding chiropractic care and how it effects colic in children. In the piece, it shows two toddlers getting adjusted and their mothers giving great testimonials for their chiropractor for chiropractic. I believe one of the ladies even said, “It works!!”, which is a mantra for most chiropractors.

The kickers of the clip is first, the news reporter saying that after contacting a number of pediatricians, there was no one that wanted to respond to this clip, but even more, that the doctor not only adjusted children as young as three days old, but dogs too.

Huh? Do dogs get colic, and is “colicky” a word???

My crazy birthday week…

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

I’m sorry I haven’t posted anything in a week, but this has easily been the craziest week of my adult life having to turn a year older, attend the USA Rugby national team camp in San Diego, and catch a red eye flight back to this side of the country to bury my grandma. I’ll make sure to get another post up this week to catch up :)

This is how my birthday week began with my assistant, Amber, throwing me a surprise birthday celebration at the office with my mom, her friend Diane, Rose Radiology rep and dear friend Dawn, and our intern Dr. Christine…

And this is how it ended, reading the from the New Testament in my grandmother’s funeral, who also passed on my birthday. It was a bittersweet feeling on that day…My grandma Irene lived a very full life passing away peacefully at the age of 90 with 8 children, 19 grandchildren, including me, and 11 great grandchildren and counting…

A Chiropractic endorsement from future NFL Hall of Famer Roger Craig

Friday, September 4th, 2009

Back a few posts, I shared with you the fantastic Chiropractic testimonials of NFL Hall of Fame members Jerry Rice, who teamed up with the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, and Joe Montana, who was featured in a video piece on CBS This Morning in the 80′s. I just found this gem of a commercial that looks to have been produced in the 90′s featuring future NFL Hall of Fame member, Roger Craig, who teamed up with the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association.

No wonder the San Fransisco 49ers were called the team of the 80′s. These guys helped the team win 4 Super Bowls, XVI, XIX, XXIII, and XXIV. They also counted for 25 Pro Bowl selections, and 22 All Pro selections. More importantly, in the CBS This Morning piece, they all gave great testimonials for Chiropractic, they are are all still endorsing and getting Chiropractic care, and they are going to be in the Hall of Fame soon. This year, Roger Craig was named as a semi-finalist in the 2009 class for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He’s almost there…Good luck in 2010, Roger!!!
