So we want to take you back, waaaaay back, to a day and age when we still had the plot of the Christmas story in the front of our minds: GIVING. It’s a wonder that in the decadent 1980′s when big hair and even bigger egos reigned supreme, that our society was more concerned with others well being, rather than just our own…

This is a gem that I just got today, a miracle for this guy and his fiancee. After a regular trip to his chiropractor, this guy finally gets the vision in his left eye back after 10 years of darkness.

Chiropractic has the ability to allow the nervous system to do it’s job, which is to control and communicate with every cell in the human body, by aligning misaligned joints, often called subluxations.

I’ve heard stories and testimonals like this all the way through chiropractic school and the number of those testimonies grow as I continue into my 7th year in private practice. Last week in fact, I highlighted infertility, another condition that the human body can resolve itself with the help of chiropractic care. I never had a doubt about chiropractic, and almost a decade later, I am starting to see people shed the old opinions about chiropractic and getting back to a lifestyle that is pain free and drug free.

I’m sure that there is more involved in the restoration of normal function of this guy’s eye, and I’m sure it’s not solely because of chiropractic, but I am sure that because of chiropractic, this guy’s body finally figured out that his eye wasn’t working properly and fixed itself. Christmas came early for him…

Now that all of the swine flu propaganda has ceased due to more important and pending issues, like Tiger Woods’ nightmare, I am left with health issues in the news and on the internet that are swirling around sex, babies, and fertility.

This story out of Omaha, Nebraska is quite interesting and certainly heart warming. The physiology and neurology of the connection between the brain and the body is definitely fact. And what I enjoyed the best about this story is that the Chiropractor only claims credit for what we really do: allow the body to do it’s job by keeping the line of communication clear and aligned with the brain, which controls and co-ordinates all bodily functions.

In light of the media frenzy about Tiger Woods and his “transgressions”, I have found a news segment that may explain why he did what he did…

I’m sorry to have strayed from the point of today’s post, but I really wonder what is the matter with high profile people, athletes, movie stars, etc. having difficulty being loyal to their spouses and families. They are usually married to other very beautiful people, have beautiful children, are gifted in athletics, acting, business, etc. and have heaps of cash to show for it…

Isn’t that the American dream??
