Our New Year’s resolution for 2010

If you want to get fitter and healthier in 2010, we’re going to help facilitate that new year’s resolution for you. We have partnered with the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Medical Association in promoting their new program Exercise is Medicine.

The basic goal is to get Americans off their butts and get active not just for your body, but for your well being as well. Exercise will not only get you healthy, but it will keep you healthy and prevent illnesses. The standard recommendation for adults under the age of 65 is 30 minutes of moderate to intense exercise, 5 days a week.

If it sounds a bit rough, don’t worry, we won’t let it be. As a commitment to the Exercise is Medicine program, not only will we help to set goals for you, but we will prescribe the proper and safe exercise routine for you, and we will monitor your progress each visit.
