Austin E. Dacanay, DC, MS, CCSP, ICSSD

Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Austin graduated with both Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Sports Injury Management degrees from Life University in Atlanta in 2003.  He is also an alumnus of the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science.

Since the start of his professional practice in the Tampa Bay area in 2004, he has earned a reputation of managing and correcting complicated musculoskeletal conditions in both the spine and the extremities.  His practice profile ranges from chiropractic care for athlete performance, sports injuries, work related injuries and car accident injuries.

After practicing as an associate in Tampa, Lakeland and Clearwater, Dr. Austin finally took the plunge and opened his own practice in Lutz, Florida. TITAN Spine and Sports Medicine officially opened in May 2007.

Dr. Austin has also been an Adjunct Professor in the Physical Education Department at Hillsborough Community College since 2004.
 
Dr. Austin takes pride in teaching patients and students the benefits of chiropractic care, resistance training, aerobic training, stretching and nutrition. This empowers his patients and students to better understand what causes injuries, how to correct them, and how they can avoid them in the future.

His interests include all sports, especially rugby, weight training and working with athletes of all ages and skill levels, as they carry a genuinely positive and enthusiastic desire to be well, get well, and stay well. He currently serves as the Team Chiropractor for the USF Bulls Rugby, USF Sundolls, Lutz Chiefs Football & Cheerleading Club, Tampa Bay Area Krewe Rugby, and USA Rugby South teams.

Amber M.Spiers

Amber is a graduate of Gaither High School and is currently pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education at Hillsborough Community College.

Amber was born in right here in sunny Tampa, Florida. At age three she moved to Anchorage, Alaska where her father was stationed in the Air Force. At age seven, they got tired of the cold and moved backed to Tampa. She has lived here since.

Amber enjoys spending time with all five of her nieces and nephews, going to baseball and hockey games, going to the beach, boating, and working out. She also loves to travel. A little known fact about Amber is that she has visited every state in the U.S. except Hawaii!!! Also, she is a globetrotter, having traveled overseas to England and Ukraine.

She loves living here in Florida but hopes one day to move to Boston, Massachusetts where she can open her own Pre-School and attend every Boston Red Sox home game.
